blocked website

Hi.
This trusted website I have been using for years is being blocked by AVG stating it has a virus:
https://cricketonlinehd.com/blog/tag/paid-live-cricket-hd/
I've contacted the website and they assure me they are virus-free.
I have friends who are using the site without problems.
Would it be safe to disconnect AVG while watching the site?
Or is there a better solution?
Thanks and bet wishes,
Jack

Thanks for your answer Delli.
I'm afraid, though, that I don't really understand what's happening.
Who is helping me with my problem?
The AVG chat site refered me to this link but I've not yet received any suggestions to solve my problem.
Best wishes,
Jack
